Frequently asked questions
Does Brazil run applications?
No. The Brazil node is CDN cache only: it speeds up delivery for Brazilian visitors, while the app runs in the USA or Germany.
What if a region goes down?
The failover replica, kept off with its image already downloaded in the other region, is started by a watcher within seconds.
Is US latency good enough for Brazil?
In many cases, yes; the cache in Brazil speeds things up for visitors.
