PostgreSQL, MySQL, MariaDB, MongoDB and Redis

Devora Cloud · Reviewed on

The Devora database sits outside the app, on the private network. Ask your AI for the right engine before the first deploy.

Technical illustration. Features and regions depend on the plan, availability and application compatibility.

Installing the database inside the application container ties the data to that copy. On a version change or a region change, the data does not travel with it.

The available engines are PostgreSQL, MySQL, MariaDB, MongoDB and Redis. The URL arrives in the app as a variable. You do not type the password into the code.

How to ask

In the token text, name the engine and the application region. Example: “create PostgreSQL and publish in the United States.” The AI creates the database before the first upload, so the variable already exists for the build.

Backups

Automatic backup exists for PostgreSQL, 7 days on Pro and 30 days on Enterprise. Hobby has none. Redis, MySQL, MariaDB and MongoDB are not in that automatic copy. A backup recovers deleted data. It does not replace the application protection copy.

Frequently asked questions

Is the database in Brazil?
