What application hosting is
Devora Cloud · Reviewed on
Application hosting puts your system online with a build, HTTPS, a database and files. See what Devora Cloud does and what stays in your code.
Hosting an HTML page is one job. Hosting an application is another: a build, a process that stays up, a database, login and files a user uploads. That is what a SaaS, an API or a dashboard needs.
Devora Cloud is that hosting. You send the code, by Git, by ZIP or through your AI with a token. The platform builds, publishes and returns an HTTPS address.
What the hosting includes
An automatic build, or the repository Dockerfile, or a static site. A database separate from the app: PostgreSQL, MySQL, MariaDB, MongoDB or Redis. Files in private S3, not on the disk of a copy that can be replaced. Your domain with HTTPS after DNS points at Devora.
Where it runs
The application runs in the United States or in Germany. Brazil is a cache for visitors, not the application server. Every plan includes a protection copy kept off in the other country. Extra copies that stay on, to share traffic or to cover a spike, are billed by the hour.
Who publishes
You, from the dashboard, or your AI. In the second case, generate the token under AI token & API and name the place. The AI reads the manual and publishes.
Frequently asked questions
Does this replace a VPS?
It replaces assembling the server, the proxy and the application certificate. It is not a root machine where you install anything you like.
Does it work for a product aimed at Brazil?
Yes. The audience can be Brazilian. The application itself runs in the US or Germany, and the Brazilian cache speeds up the visit.
