Load balancing by the hour, not a second monthly fee

Turning on an extra copy to share traffic costs by the hour, while it is on. The database and S3 stay the same.
Load balancing here is an application copy on at the same time as the primary, sharing visits. It is not a separate product with another database.
It costs by the hour of use. Turn it off and the hour stops. It is not a second US$ 5 Hobby added for the whole month just because the button exists.
What does not change
The address, the database and S3. The copies talk to the same data. That is why an upload cannot live on the disk of one of them.
Who turns it on
You, on the replicas screen, or your AI if you ask with the token. The AI does not turn on an extra copy on its own. The plan has a ceiling: Hobby up to 2 copies on, Pro up to 3, Enterprise up to 5.

Does the off protection copy count here?
No. The included failover stays off and is not the extra load-balancing copy.
