Host a Node.js API

Devora Cloud · Reviewed on

Publish a Node.js API with HTTPS, a database and logs. Your AI does it with the token if you name the port and the region.

Technical illustration. Features and regions depend on the plan, availability and application compatibility.

An API has to stay up, answer over HTTPS and reach the database over a private network. It does not need a VPS only to run Node.

On Devora, the application port lives in the publish settings. If your AI will publish, name the port and the region in the same request as the token.

What to ask the AI

“Publish this Node API on Devora, in the United States, with PostgreSQL. The port is 3000.” Change the country and the port to match the project. The AI reads llms.txt, creates the project and follows the build.

If the build fails

The usual cause is the start command, the port or a dependency that was not declared. The AI reads the log. The previous version, if one existed, stays online.

Frequently asked questions

Do Express, Fastify and Nest work?

Yes, as long as start brings up an HTTP process on the configured port. The framework is not a closed list.
